History of Diwali
Diwali is one the mast- well-known indian festival and is often referred to as the festival of ligths. The word itseltf mean " rows of lighted clay lamps." is a five day celebretion market with bright colors oil lamps, feasts and sparklers. Diwali occurs on the 15th day of the hindu month of Kartika Octuber/Nobember in the Gregorian caledar ] Home, courtyards, and rooftops are commonly decoreted with small oil lamps [ called diyas] Rangoli a form of colouful sand painting, adorms doorsteps.
